Choc Hazelnut Orange Tart

BASE
150g (8 pcs) Kookas Natural
Orange Hazelnut Biscuits
1 tbs coconut oil
1 tbs coconut nectar

FILLING
1 ½ cups cashews, soaked
for 8 hours
3/4 cup coconut nectar
1/2 cup coconut oil
100 g Dark Chocolate (melted)
3 tbs orange juice
Zest from half an orange

TOPPING
Chopped hazelnuts and orange zest


1. For the base, process all ingredients until a crumbly dough
forms. Press into a 16 cm spring-form tart tin or up to 6 small
individual tart tins. Refrigerate while you make the filling.


2. For the filling, blend the cashews with the orange juice, zest,
cacao, coconut oil and nectar until roughly smooth. Slowly add
the melted chocolate while blender continues to run, until the
mix is smooth. Pour into the tart shell and smooth out.


3. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set. Garnish with toppings
before serving.
